I have been an artist my entire life and thru experimenting with various forms of media, I have come to love
mixed media textile pictures above all else. I work with fabric, hand stitching, handmade paper, fiber, found objects, books, images, and paint on canvas with heavy weight watercolor paper.
My work has a feel of folk art to it. Very basic in its origins, yet detailed in every piece to tell the story.
Oh, and the name "The Cabin Gal" well, I have always wanted to build and live in a log cabin, so when I
set out to build this mini cabin for my paper making studio, my friends started to call me "Cabin Gal"
and I guess the name just stuck.
